"Angels in the Yard”
My name is Richard Tausch and I have something that I think is important for everyone to see. As a published songwriter, I recently wrote a touching ballad titled Don't Leave the Children All Alone." The song is dedicated to John Walsh of America's Most Wanted TV show. The song is inspired by John Walsh who was named one of the 100 Americans Who Changed History. His son was the victim of a brutal murder and he turned that tragedy into a passion to help missing children.
I had a full band Nashville studio demo of the song created by the former music director of Faith Hill and I am told by some high level folks in the music industry that the song is destined to be a hit. I just know that if that were to happen, this song could raise awareness in the family units of America and songs throughout modern era have influenced how we live our lives, and our relationships. If one child is saved, or child held more closely, appreciated just a little more, that is worth more than anything.
I already have a few radio stations wanting to play the demo over the air and my publisher and I are getting the song to a pop\country style artist with a major record label. I honestly think that this song was a gift from God. I would love to hear what you all think about the full song. Below I have listed link to hear the song followed by the lyrics. Promises From A Fallen Child
I will be your light from the moon,
On a cold winter night,
Your warm fluffy blanket,
You can hold onto so tight.
The sunshine in the morning,
That brings warmth to your smile,
I'll be the shoes that you wear,
As you travel each mile.
A red rose in your garden,
I shall be the kiss from the dew,
I'll be the sweet smell of nature,
Through your summer time too.
And when storm clouds move in,
To darken your sky,
I'll be the strong hand,
That carries them on by.
On your sad days when you feel,
You just can't carry on,
I'll be the voice for sweet music,
That sings you love songs.
And if you find at the closing,
Of the day your still blue,
I will stretch out the love,
Of my arms to hold you.
A bright glistening star,
Which shall fall from the sky,
It's path trailing of splendor,
I shall cast toward your eye.
And the wish you shall make,
Is guaranteed to come true,
These things and more....
I will do for just you.
