Caringbridge donates space to children who are terminally ill.   Here are a few of them and if you could find it in your heart to visit these kids and sign their guestbooks it would mean so much to them and bring a smile to their faces.  Your reward will be the knowledge that you brought a smile to the face of someone that might not be here long. Hopefully we will add more children in the future.

Thank you so much

H O W D Y !!

Ever hear the expression  “the cat’s pajamas?”   It means soooo cooool.   Guess what?  A little bird told us that you are the cat’s pajamas!!
Being a kid isn’t easy.  Believe us, we know.  We got so tired of having to look up.   We had, like, a kazillion questions.   See, we didn’t know that when we did something nice for someone, our hearts grew  thiiiiiiiiis biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig.
Here’s another expression we like:  “big as all outdoors.”   When you help your mom or dad or someone else you feel close to,  your heart grows. . .big as all outdoors!    You got it!     Helping someone you don’t know makes you big as a mountain with the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk on top!    A w e s o m e!
Besides having a big heart, we hear you like to learn new things and make people laugh.   Best of all, you have a lot of courage.   What is courage?   It is giving someone a smile when you feel terrible.  It is taking medicine that tastes like burnt broccoli and doing the things doctors and therapists say will help.   It is trying new things, even when they scare you.
Bet you love sunshine AND rain.  Right?   Like us, you like flowers, animals, cartoons, bright colors,  jokes,  games,  and saying thanks to God.  This site is our way of thanking YOU.  A lot of you are hurting right now.  Talk to us.  Talk about anything that interests you.  We want your poems, essays, songs, and drawing.   Complain, if you want.  We do!    Then we wipe our faces and do something  we like to do,  like draw or read or listen to a story or watch a video. . .or check to see what’s new at Angels That Care!
Well, first we do our exercises.  Yuk.   Sure feels good when they’re over.  That’s just one thing we thank God for.  We say thanks for our families, our friends. . .everybody!   Bet you do, too.   After all, you’re the Cat’s Pajamas:).
